Sitespecific installation for “DIVAGO Festival” in the social context of Via del Campo and Piazza Don Gallo in Genoa.
Inspired by the autobiographical novel by Rossella, a transgender woman who has lived in the alleys since the 1980s: the work is composed of: skin-coloured posters stuck along the streets and on the buildings on which one can read texts extrapolated from the novel relating to events that took place in those places. Together with a photographic installation in the square: Prints glued in a circle on the ground. Portraits of women whose physical features recall the young transvestite prostitutes described in the book: who lived and died prematurely in the alleys of Genoa.
